🏔️ DOLO+GO – A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE DOLOMITES.
DOLO+GO: dream of the Dolomites from home, explore them when you’re here, take them with you wherever you go
Plan at home. Explore when you’re here. Take the Dolomites with you.
There is a moment when every journey begins, long before you actually leave.
It is when you open a map, look for a trail, discover a village you had never heard of, imagine a mountain hut high among the peaks or wonder what you might do next weekend.
DOLO+GO was created to connect that moment with everything that comes next.
First, dream. Then go. And when you arrive, let the journey continue.
The idea is simple:
DO — plan your journey from home. GO — come to the Dolomites.
And when you arrive, take the Dolomites with you. 📱
That is the idea behind DOLO+GO: to create a digital travel companion that can accompany visitors before, during and, one day, even after their journey.
A project born here in the Belluno Dolomites, created with travellers from all over the world in mind — people who want to discover this territory without limiting themselves to its best-known destinations.
💻 Before you leave: plan from home
Your journey can begin from your sofa at home.
On dolomitibelluno.it, we are gradually bringing together everything that can help you imagine and plan your experience:
- 🏔️ places to discover;
- 🎉 events and local happenings;
- 🥾 trails and itineraries;
- 🛖 mountain huts and bivouacs;
- 🚴 cycling and mountain-bike routes;
- 🍽️ local products, traditional dishes and flavours;
- 🛏️ ideas and places to stay;
- 📍 experiences in the villages and valleys of the Belluno Dolomites.
You might discover a place you had never heard of, save an idea for the following day, find an event taking place during your holiday or simply let yourself be inspired.
Your holiday doesn’t have to begin when you arrive.
It can begin while you’re still dreaming about it.
🎒 Then… GO!
The day of departure arrives.
Come to the Dolomites.
And this is where the project changes perspective.
What you discovered from home should be able to stay with you while you explore the territory.
That is why we are building DOLO+GO.
📍 Where am I?
🏔️ What’s around me?
🥾 Where can I go today?
🎉 What’s happening nearby?
🍽️ Where can I taste something local?
🛖 Is there a mountain hut nearby?
🚴 Which route can I take from here?
These are simple questions. They are also exactly the kind of questions travellers ask when they arrive at their destination.
Our goal is to make sure that the territory itself can provide the answers.
A website to dream with. An app to experience the territory.
We don’t simply want to build another tourism website or another app.
We want to connect information within a single ecosystem.
What you discover before leaving home should remain useful when you are actually in Belluno, Cortina, Feltre, Agordo, Cadore, Alpago, Val di Zoldo or one of the many valleys of the Belluno Dolomites.
The journey you started planning at home should be able to continue naturally when you arrive.
Plan at home.
Explore when you’re here.
Take the Dolomites with you.
DO + LO + GO. Perhaps the name was there all along.
We also love the name because you can read it and play with it in different ways:
DO + LO + GO
DO + LOGO
DOLO+GO
But above all, it contains one essential word: GO!
Go.
Get out there.
Explore.
Because no digital project about the Dolomites should aim to keep you staring at a screen.
It should do exactly the opposite: help you decide where to go.
💛 💙 💚 Even our colours tell the story of where we come from
The colours of DOLO+GO were not chosen by chance.
They are three simple, immediate colours, yet each of them tells something about the land where this project was born.
Together with blue, yellow is one of the colours that immediately evokes the project’s Belluno identity. But it is also the colour of sunshine, of light falling across the mountains and of those bright days that make you want to step outside and set off on an adventure.
Blue is the other great reference to our Belluno identity.
It also recalls the clear skies above the Dolomites and the crystal-clear waters of the streams, lakes and rivers flowing through these valleys.
Green is the colour of forests, meadows and mountain pastures, of the valleys and of a natural landscape that is far more than simply a backdrop to your journey: it is one of the very reasons people come to the Dolomites.
Yellow, blue and green are therefore part of our identity: the land we come from, its light, its water and its natural environment — everything we want to help visitors discover and experience.
🌍 The Dolomites speak to the world: 19 languages
The Dolomites do not belong to just one language.
Every year, people arrive here from different countries, cultures and continents.
That is why dolomitibelluno.it and dologo.it are growing as international projects and are now available in no fewer than 19 languages (for now…).
We don’t consider translation to be merely a technical detail.
It is part of the very idea behind the project: people who come to the Dolomites should be able to discover and understand them in their own language.
That, too, is part of making people feel welcome.
Two websites. One app. One territory.
🌐 dolomitibelluno.it
The territory, its stories, places, events and everything you can start discovering before you leave home.
🏔️ DOLO+GO
The DOLO+GO project, its evolution and everything we are building.
📱 DOLO+GO
The app we are developing to accompany you when you’re here.
Three different tools, but one shared idea: put the territory at the heart of everything and connect all the things that can help you experience it.
🚧 We’re building all of this right now
DOLO+GO is a growing project.
Some features are already active, others are in development, and still others belong to the next stages of the project.
We don’t want to pretend that everything is already finished.
Instead, we want to do something different: show you the project as it grows.
Because the people who visit the Dolomites can help us understand what information they really need, what tools are still missing and what an app designed for people exploring this territory should actually do.
💬 And now we’d love to hear from you
Try the project.
Explore the website.
Follow us as we build DOLO+GO.
And above all: tell us what you would like to find when you arrive in the Dolomites.
What information would you like to have immediately available on your phone?
What places would you like to discover?
What feature could make your day easier?
Your answers to questions like these will also help us build DOLO+GO.
