🏔️ Delicious Festival Dolomiti 2025: Flavour, Sport, and History Among the Peaks
On September 26 and 27, 2025, the Dolomites will once again host a one-of-a-kind celebration that blends trail running, gourmet cuisine, nature, and culture: the Delicious Festival Dolomiti, a true tribute to the territory of Lagazuoi – 5 Torri – Giau in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Two days of outdoor fun, open-air tastings, competitive races, and family-friendly events — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.
🏃♀️ Four Races, One Spirit: Run Through the Dolomites
On Saturday, September 27, the spotlight turns to the trail running competitions, offering a variety of distances to suit all levels:
Delicious Trail Dolomiti – 9th edition
Short Trail Dolomiti – 9th edition
Medium Delicious Trail Dolomiti – 4th edition
Mini Delicious Trail – 8th edition (for children)
One of the most iconic sections is the climb up Sentiero del Fronte, which leads through the legendary mine tunnel of Lagazuoi and up to the Anticima summit — a powerful and emotional experience, rich with history.
🍴 Taste the Mountains: Gourmet Cuisine at High Altitude
The Delicious Festival is as much about flavour as it is about fitness.
The PalaDelicious food village will open on Friday, September 26, at Pocol, with an exclusive kickoff event hosted by the Chef Team Cortina.
On race day, Saturday the 27th, the PalaDelicious will offer food tastings all day long, with dishes prepared by chefs from local restaurants and mountain huts.
Among the culinary highlights is the Lagazuoi Mountain Hut, one of several gourmet stops along the route.
The day concludes with an open-to-all party featuring music, a DJ set, animation, and plenty of local celebration.
🗺️ More Than Sport: A Festival That Tells the Story of the Dolomites
The Delicious Festival is more than just a sporting event — it’s a project of territorial storytelling, created by the Cortina Delicious team to celebrate and promote the historical, alpine, natural, and culinary heritage of the region.
The race courses cross open-air museums of the Great War in the high mountains, making it possible to run through living history.
