“Vitigni rari italiani”: talk and tastings at the Museo diocesano in Feltre

Some grape varieties are barely grown by anyone anymore, and their stories deserve to be told before they vanish. On Thursday, 5 November, as part of «Aspettando l’Antica Fiera di San Matteo» (the run-up to Feltre’s historic San Matteo Fair), the Museo diocesano di Feltre hosts the presentation of the book «Vitigni rari italiani – Storie di Patriarchi, Profeti ed Eroi» (Rare Italian Grape Varieties – Stories of Patriarchs, Prophets and Heroes), moderated by Enzo Slongo.

After the talk, it’s time to raise a glass: “impossible” tastings curated by G.R.A.S.P.O., followed by a guided tasting of the wines featured in the book, paired with Belluno cheeses from the Confraternita del Formaggio Piave.
