Titian and the landscape — Pieve di Cadore

On the 450th anniversary of the death of Tiziano Vecellio, the town where he was born devotes to him Titian and the landscape, an exhibition exploring the role of the mountains and of nature in the work of the master from Cadore.
The show is open until 18 October 2026 and is part of the wider programme Estate Tizianesca, which brings talks and lectures to the Belluno area and the Veneto plain.
Pieve di Cadore keeps the painter’s birthplace and, in the archdeaconal church, one of his altarpieces: a visit to the exhibition lends itself to a day devoted to Titian’s places.
