On Sunday 11 October 2026 the Concattedrale di San Pietro in Feltre hosts «Il Francesco che la musica canta», a concert by the Choir of the Basilica del Santo in Padua devoted to St Francis of Assisi. It is the closing event of the programme with which Feltre marks eight hundred years since the saint’s death.
Who sings
The Choir of the Basilica del Santo is the ensemble that accompanies the liturgy in Padua’s Antonian basilica, one of the most visited Franciscan places in Italy. The evening’s programme is built around the figure of Francis and the way music has told his story over the centuries.
