Between Pren and Costa Solana: the chestnut loop

On Sunday 18 October 2026 the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park offers the chestnut loop between Pren and Costa Solana, a free half-day guided walk.
Mid-October is when the fruit-bearing chestnut groves are at their best: the route crosses old cultivated groves, evidence of a mountain economy that for centuries relied on the chestnut as a staple food.
Participation is free and booking is recommended: information and meeting point on the website of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
