Nostro Fratello d’Assisi — St Francis in comics at the Oratorio dell’Annunziata

Throughout October 2026 the Oratorio dell’Annunziata in Feltre hosts the exhibition «Nostro Fratello d’Assisi. Storia di una esperienza di Dio», which tells the story of St Francis in comics. It is one of the events in the programme with which the town marks eight hundred years since the saint’s death.

The background

Feltre’s programme for the eighth centenary comes from the town council working with the parish of the Concattedrale: from March to October 2026 lectures, urban treks, concerts and exhibitions look at Francis from historical, artistic, literary and spiritual angles. The October exhibition ideally closes that path, choosing the language of the comic strip to tell a religious experience.
